Zac Whyte - Youth Waste Reduction EducatorReducing our ecological footprint is now more important than it’s ever been. For every truckload of solid goods manufactured an average of 32 trucks pack away the waste it takes to produce those goods. The Power of R program is designed to engage our community in environmental issues. Contract educator Zac Whyte delivers dynamic presentations that create connections and help youth understand the importance of reducing solid waste, and conserving water in the CVRD and SRD. Together we can rethink, reduce, reuse and recycle our way to a healthy planet and sustainable lifestyle.

Teachers,  Group Leaders and Organizations
All presentations are free of charge for classrooms in School District 71 and 72 because Waste Reduction Education is funded by CSWM solid waste tipping fees. Program delivery and collaborative lesson planning are available to teachers and groups.  Individual presentations  and workshops are available for all ages. Visit Zac Whyte’s testimonial page to see what people are saying.
