As humans we do some really amazing, inspiring, quarky and silly things to fit in and influence the social landscape. Occupation Human is video blog that spotlights humanity and explores arts and culture, community service, development, and social connection.

In 2009 the first episode of Occupation Human raised awareness and $10000 in three days to aid entrepreneurial development projects in the Rwenzori Mountains. That’s pretty cool.

Episode 1 – People Of The Rwenzori Mountains

“Western culture constantly tells us to place importance on glitz, glamour and overnight success. However, we are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that our simple actions can create a massive ripple effect around the world. We know that helping others to live with greater dignity is our gift to give. Occupation Human takes a look at how humans exist on the planet and what it means to be human.”

The People of the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda have inspired the first episode. Their incredible development will definitely inspire you.

A special thank you to Taylor Conroy for his generous support. Thank you to Brad and Carly Jefferson for facilitating the research trip in Uganda. Huge props also to Tyler Schwindt & Drakes Advantage for their music rights.
