In support of Free the Children, 5000 youth, adults and businesses from Vancouver Island united to support development in the Maasai Mara region of Kenya. Connecting With Kenya raised over $47,000 that built schools, fresh water systems, health care programs and alternative income programs for men, women and children in Pimbiniet. With the help of an amazing social entrepreneur Taylor Conroy, CWK has also built a library in Motony village. If you would like to read a Fall 2010 community report about the work that we support in Motony please click here.

Several Canadian youth that worked on Connecting With Kenya have traveled to Kenya to see the development first hand. If you would like to get involved in a project like this, go on a trip, or learn more about Free the Children and MetoWe Trips click the links. Your passion and support are my inspirations. Join the movement and be the change you want to see in the world today.
